What type paint

I am assuming you do not have the air-supplied respiratory protection to properly deal with isocyanate-containing paint additives. I also assume you do not want to spend several hundred dollars for the necessary safety equipment. That said, I think you should stay away from the urethanes and the enamel hardeners.

DuPont makes a "Fast Dry" acrylic enamel in their NASON line of automotive paints. PPG makes a similar acrylic enamel in their OMNI line. Both lines should be able to be mixed for the appropriate color for your Farmall. Neither require isocyanate-containing additives. I would recommend either of these paints as an economical, relatively safe-to-use product for those not set up to use the higher end stuff. I suspect Martin-Senour (NAPA) probably has a similar product in their lineup but I not familiar with paints.
