I am going crazy trying to figure out what type of
spray gun I need. What is the difference between
light, medium and heavy viscosity spray guns?
What type would be best for priming and painting
a work tractor, but still a nice paint job?

Thanks all

I would go with this one if you have a small air compreser under 10HP>Link

Over>Link 10HP

Without going into a lot of detail, painting a tractor is no different than painting a car. Get one or two HVLP (high volume, low pressure) spray guns, You need a 1.7 mm tip for primer, and about 1.5mm for topcoat. It's nice to have two guns, but you can use one with interchangeble tips. You can also use the 1.7 mm tip for both primer and topcoat if you're not too picky. Pick guns that match your compressor and use a good water trap. HVLP guns sometimes require MORE air than the old style guns.
