There were no factory demo H's sold. Any white H you see is either a fake, or was ordered that way by a highway dept, etc. The only production white Farmalls were the Cub, Super A, and C, produced during the 1st quarter of 1950.

Where did you get this info??? I have seen some info that, in addition to the tractors you mentioned, there Were some white M's produced for dealers who requested them after seeing the white smaller tractors. Have you heard anything about this??
reply here or email me.

This is fairly common knowledge among those who have studied it. Documentation can be found in Guy Fay's "Farmall Letter Series Tractors", and other books. Richard Lantis is a former IH dealer who was around (as a kid) when they built them and is an authority on the subject -- I don't have his email address. The white Cub, Super A, and C were produced during the 1st quarter of 1950. Whether the 1st quarter was Jan-March, Dec-Feb, etc I don't know. I'm not saying there weren't any other white tractors, as IH would paint them any color the customer wanted for an extra charge. Whether a dealer ordered any or not I don't know, as you are the 1st person I know of who has mentioned this. But they were not demonstrators authorized by IH, far as I know. Theoretically they could have been ordered by the dealer for some state highway dept, that had white equipment, there are at least a couple of those. This subject has been beat to death. Do a search on the Farmall board for "white Farmalls" or something like that and you will find out more than you want to know.
