I purchased a craftmans paint gum many years ago and at the time is was a very good gun. I have not use it for many year and was going to use it to paint my 420c. Can anyone out there tell me how to set it up. There are two knobs at the top rear of the gum which are used for adjustment. As it is now it dose not give a wide patterm. I ma using approximately 40 PSI.

Thanks

Hi BC Bob, if I remember right the top knob controls pattern width. The farther out, the wider the pattern. The lower knob controls how much fluid you are siphoning up the tube. Can't remember witch way is witch but adjust it till your pattern is even clear accross the fan. Hope this helps. Fred
