Does anyone have experience with these guns?
DEVILBISS / Pt#: FLG635316
FINISH LINE II HVLP Gravity Spray Gun 1.4 & 1.6. $122.50. I am wanting a decent gun with a reasonable cost and I know Devilbiss should be pretty good. All input is welcome. Thanks This is one source I found for the gun.

I have had a Devilbliss paint gun for over 20 years. It is still going strong and does a great job. I have used it on every type of paint job, from cabinets to cars. Don't know about the newer ones with the plastic tips, mine is metal.

Kermit,

Check out www.autobodystore.com.

There have been many discussions on the Auto Body Store BBS about various spray guns and their pro's & con's.

Len also has pretty good prices on his spray guns.

I strongly considered buying one of these guns until I found out that the tip is some sort of a composite material including the hole the paint goes through. Initially they are good guns, just don't know how long they will last -- only my opinion. You can buy a refurbished Sharpe Platinum from www.sharpe1.com for about $180. I purchased a Sharpe Cobalt primer gun (equipped with the proper tip it is also a finish gun) from www.thetoolwarehouse.net for $110.
