PPG makes wax and grease remover--DX 330, use this just before you paint to remove residual oil and fingerprints, etc. You CAN use soap and water, or a water based cleaner. Just dry it good and use a rust converter product such as Rass O' Nil (Picklex 20), (do a search I believe it is www.autobodystore.com.) to take care of the flash rust. Expensive, but a pint will do a whole tractor. Lasts for months if you keep water off it once you use it, and you don't have to paint right away. For light dust, once it is clean, blow it off as the other post says and use a tack rag.
