I'm using Napa Econo Etching Primer and Napa Econo Etching Thinner. What kind of mix should I use? Someone said 50% seems like it would be a really thin mix. Painting a Coop E3. Thanks.

I use this primer also and I know my gun would not spray at this mixture. I use 1 part paint and up to 3 parts thinner or untill I get a decent spray without sputter.

It's not going to be 50/50. Follow the instructions on the can and don't guess. If the can doesn't say, then ask for the spec sheets.
