Is the Sharpe 998 pressure feed gun as good as the Platinum?

I am in the market for a spray gun. The Sharpe 998 pressure feed uses 7.5 CFM of air like the Platinum and is rated to spray everything from primers to enamel whereas the Platinum offers different tips and is more of a finish gun. Is this correct? Could anyone who has experience with these guns offer any advice. Which one would you buy? I would be using it to paint smaller items and only occasionally a vehicle or tractor.

I have a Platinum low output and love it. I have heard good things about the 998 and almost bought it. but the price was right on the Platinum. I think you would be elated with either gun.
