I am an avid A-C collector, but I am restoring a 300 for an old school teacher/good friend. I would like to use Dupont Centarri or PPG Delstar paint and i don't have any #s. Please Help! E-mail me with the #s if you have them as I am not on an I-H site very often. lol Thank-You in advance----- Jon Fredritz Carey, Ohio ac1937wc@aol.com

PPG is #71310 and crosses to the original IHC #2150 (1950's).

Why don't you just get some Irongaurd Case/IH red at your local dealership? I said the same thing your saying, "that paint is junk," but my Dad just painted an 826 IH with it and it came out beautiful! It looked like Centarri without the price(we were going to paint it with Centarri, but the price was too great.

PPG and Centarri are nice, and expensive, but Irongaurd is, for the money, a good paint.

Good Luck
!!

Ironguard is a modified acrylic enamel, I'm not sure what the modified part means but I have never had a problem using automotive acrylic enamel reducers and hardners with it.
