Have any of you used WEST SYSTEM epoxy with the various fillers to repair badly rusted fenders and sheet metal?

From what I have read this epoxy can be used to fasten stainless steel hardware to the decks of fiberglass sailboats - and- hold up to tremendous loads.

Just wondering if it could also be used to fill rust out spots between the sheet metal of the fender and the steel subframe beneath the rust out. There is a filler that can be added to the stuff that works like glass cloth to make the stuff span over larger areas.

These fenders are still servicable and don't look too bad. I would sure like to patch them up and get them back on the tractor. It will keep the briars off of me when bushogging.

Use duct tape under the holes and then fill with long strand fiberglass filler. better that epoxy and easier to work with grind to shape and then skim coat with filler for shape.
