How long should a person wait before waxing new paint. The paint is synthetic with hardener. I plan on using Mother's Carnubua Wax.

Wayne, You didn't say what part of the country you are located in as climate has a bearing on cure time, Synthol even with hardner needs the most time since the solvents have to totally evaporate or they will be trapped by the wax on the surface. If waxed too soon the paint will dull and turn flat. It is more important to keep the new paint clean and be sure to get all the soap off and not leave any residue as that will also dull the finish. I would suggest waiting at least six months.

wait for 30 days to allow all solvents to dissipate from paint before sealing with anything.
