I have several large MF tractors that stay out
side all the time, I treid temco paint because its cheap. However it dosent last, MF factory
paint is good but like their parts its made of gold. Im thinking of trying TSC paint. Has anyone had
good experience with paint or any other brand of
normal priced paint?

I haven't found any paint that holds up to being out side all the time. But for a paint that will hold fairly well on equipment I use Van Sickle paints and add a hardener. This has worked fairly well on equipment I have stored outside. I am not going to buy $160 a gal paint to spray on a 30 year old disc!

There is a paint company called R and M or RM. It is supposed to be good paint and much cheaper than than Dupont, S&W, or PPG. Some of the local body shops use it on things that "don't really matter" like over-all paint jobs on rust-bucket 4X4's, log trucks, fishing boats, their wife's car.....the list goes on.

I haven't tried it yet. The main reason why I haven't tried it is the local store owner is a genuine, certified, card-carrying horse's "asprin"!

You experiences will vary.

And MF paint is still a couple of steps below the good paint. If you don't want it to fade, you have to use Dupont, PPG, or Sherwin Williams, etc. All farm store, hardware store, or anyplace else is cheap paint.

The TSC paint will not be any better than the Temco paint. If you want it to last very long you need to use an urethane paint which you could probably find in an economy line of paints for around $80/gallon. There are two types of paint, cheap paint and good paint, very rarely will you ever find a paint that is both.

Normal priced paint varies.

Normal for cheap paint is about $16.00 a gal.

Normal for great paint is about $165.00 a gal.

Remember, you get what you pay for.

TSC is a cheap paint.
