i just purchased an industrial 70, as best as i can tell it was orange except the engine tub frame seems to be the oliver green. it seems the industrials are somewhat rare. i need some advise on whether to paint it the standard industrial orange, (not sure i'm going to like that) or just go with the personally more pleasing green. i'm not a real stickler either way. but if indead the tractor would be worth more restorned to orange i guess i should do it. anyone ever seen one of these restored?

Thanks i've already asked the question on the oliver page.

I am in the process of restoring a Oliver 60 Industrial. I to am having problems with the paint scheme. I have narrowed the search down to two possible colors, Oliver Industrial Yellow & Cletrac Orange. Unfortunately, you can't go into the local paint store a get a sample card for each color, and make your selection from those samples. I was told by a seemingly knowledgeable past Oliver dealer for many years, that the color for the "60 Ind." is the same as the Cletrac tractor color. From some paint I had remaining , behind wheel weights, it does appear to be a very close match. As I have no idea as to what the Oliver Industrial Yellow would look like, I am favoring the Cletrac Orange.
It does appear that these "industrials" are not that common, as it is hard to get info, and some parts for them. Good luck with your "70". I have not found that there is any other color on the industrial, except the black lettering on the axles, and the numbers on the front.
