I have a set of older Ferguson/Dearborn spring tooth cultivators that I understand would have been painted either grey or red. Mine were probably red. I'm primed and ready to go but now can't seem to find Ford red. Is it the same as M-F red that has a tinge of orange to it or is Ford red just that? I can't seem to locate a Ford red.
I want acrylic enamel so I have not looked at TSC and a dealer is a long distance from me. Any advice?

There is a big difference between massey red and ford red. Ford red has a lot more orange in it.
You can score the original ford red at your local new holland dealership. It is an older synthetic enamel but still better than tsc,rtp or tisco paint. Be sure to go to your napa store and get a pint of synthetic enamel hardener to mix with the paint and reducer to get an extra high gloss and added life to the paint.

I would take the # you get in the "Paint Codes" section at the right hand column to a local supplier and they should be able to use it or at least cross reference it.
The info listed there is -

Ford Red TP310 TISCO

Just my thought
