I'm planning on using one of the phosphoric acid based rust converter products as the second step in prepping a frame for painting. I don't have any painting equipment and was looking for recommendations on the third & fourth step. A etching primer followed by a product like POR-15?

Thanks Ray

Hi Ray,

If you are planning on using a product "like POR15" why don't you get (and follow) the product manufacturer's recommendations for prep work prior to use? That's the best way to avoid compatibility problems. Most manufacturers have product usage information on-line. For example; for POR15 go to POR15.com.
