I'm looking at a 4030 with a good recent paint job except for the wheels. Instead of the regular yellow, they are almost orange. What would be the best way to repaint with the preferred yellow? Thanks for your advice.

I've driven a 4030, wasn't mine, trying to remember if they are cast, or pressed steel, etc. Either way, in particular if they are cast, the best way is to sandblast, with the wheels off the tractor (sand every place you don't want it). Best to dismount the tires, and blast inside the rims, also. Then epoxy prime, clean them good, and use the proper color paint, JD paint is the minimum quality you should use. You can go up in quality from there.
