HELP: I'M RESTORING A 1940 JOHN DEER MODEL "H" TRACTOR AND WONDERING WHAT COLOR THE FAN BLADES ARE PAINTED AS WHEN I STRIPPED THE LAYERS OF PAINT OFF THEY COULD OF BEING YELLOW BUT IS THIS THE RIGHT COLOR OR ARE THEY GREEN CAN YOU HELP ME THANKS FOR THE INFO

They were yellow when it was new. What I do is gather up used bed sheets for drop clothes. Paint the fan yellow, let it dry for a couple days. Then take a small plastic bag like the one from the grocery store. That way you do not have tape all over your fan blades to pull paint. You only have to tape the bag closed around the hub
