I am about to paint a Farmall cub. It is all cleaned up and primed. When putting on the finish coat if i want 3to4 coats do i need to let dry completely between coats.

I agree , dont let it dry completely because you wont get as good of adhesion between coats as cnks recomended letting it flash between coats is the preferred method. The flash time will really vary though between different quality paints if your not sure if its flashed yet or you are using a cheaper brand paint like tisco or something it needs much longer flash times like 20 minutes or more or you risk running it especially in under 70 degree conditions !!! GOOD LUCK

You let each coat flash, takes 10-15 minutes at 70 degrees, IF you are using quality paint. You should be able to cover it in 3 coats.
