Has anyone used the Matco SS-5150 stud gun? I would like to know if it can use 2.6mm studs. Do stud guns have interchangeable tips for different size pins? I am interested in the one on Ebay #2450964097, but no information is given. Even the Matco site doesn't say much. I thought it would be good for tractor sheet metal.

Stud guns are good but we have a set up with three triagle tips that welds it's self to the sheet metal then you pull the built in slide hammer till you get the dent out. Then you simply twist the handle and remove. No stud less time and the tips last forever and they cost like 1.50.The tool costed 525.I'll get the name brand and repost later.Way better deal in the long run them studs add up plus the extra work. Thanks, I wasn't aware of a tool like that. Will it work on the heavier steel of old tractors?
