Just made a few small repair repair pieces out of salvaged heating duct. Is there anything special to do to make paint stick well and look resonable? Just using a spray can, so super quality isn't an issue. Thanks in advance.

Rick

Wipe it down with vinegar about two times let dry between applications. Rinse it with clean water and dry well, paint.

Say,go to an auto paint store, or hardware store, and ask for the green primer that is used for painting aluminum. I can't for the life of me remember what it is called, but the paint store guy will. it usually is available in a spraycan.. Rusty J.
