I have a 1941 Farmall H which I am trying to put back to the original condition that it was when it came from the factory. I have been told several color schemes and frankly I am confused. Can anyone advise me if the 1941 Farmall was completely Red when it came from the factory. Was the carb red or black? I can not seem to find a web site which will advise me. Thanks Sheriffbob

Red Dave is correct. Since yours is a 1941 it probably has a mag. My personal opinion is the metal part of the mag looks better unpainted, it was originally sort of a silver or gray color. I would leave any plastic or non-metal parts black, as Dave said, the cap, and also the cover over the coil. Some tractors have a brass carb. It is your choice whether this is painted red or cleaned up and polished -- it was red from the factory.

Everything would be red except the tires, rims, steering wheel, seat cover, plug wires and distributor cap, magneto cap(if it had one), muffler, and the rubber shifter knob.
Carburator, generator & starter were all red from the factory.
For more details, I suggest you get Guy Fay's book, "IH Letter Series Originality Guide"
Good book.
