I just finished putting on the first coat on an unstyled AR. It is very nice however, I used PPG Delstar acrylic enamel. For some reason the number that I always use is not the color I now have as it is too light for a classic green. QUESTION: I have a gallon of JD classic green. Can I cover this PPG acrylic with a second coat of JD classic green from the dealer without getting in trouble?

Dave,
If you have a loose part off the tractor that you can try painting first, that would be your best bet. I haven't tried doing what you're trying, but I have had good luck mixing acrylic enamels before. On one of my own tractors, I painted it with one brand, and then had to touch it up with another. I didn't have any problems, but I did paint a couple small parts first just to be safe. Maybe try the radiator cap or something, that's a pretty easy one to re-do if you have to. Good luck!
