Hi All,

I'm getting ready to buy a HobbyAir by Axis and was looking at the SAS website. They have a product called Pure Air 2000 that claims to make compressor air safe for breathing. Has anybody had any experience with this?

I've got a pancake compressor that just sits there most of the time, and was thinking maybe I could start putting it outside and pumping air to a hood.

Thanks for any input. I won't be ready to paint for a while so I'm not deperate to know, just interested.

Well, if ya put the little air compressor outside, put it up-wind of the exhaust fan, so it doesn't pull in the overspray! If it is an oilless compressor, yer in luck, although (if not, it would probably be alright to use it for a supplied air mask, for small jobs. The problem with a regular air compressor is, they put air from the air tank into yer lungs, which isn't good.
