Can anyone tell me if tisco paint is a good paint? I called my case/IH dealer & asked for case/IH 2150 red, they told me they didn't carry case/IH paint, but carried the Tisco brand. Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance

For restoration purposes, I wouldn't use anything else other than PPg Urethane. It will last by far longer than anything else.

Unless something has recently changed through the corperate buy-outs and mergers, paint should be available from your CASE/IH dealer. Try another dealer. If you find that another CASE/IH dealer does have paint, then I suggest you dump the other dealer. It would be obvious that they are not interested in serving your needs.

The last paint I bought from CASE/IH was the CASE Desert Sunset. As I recall the price was about $30.00/gal. I would also suggest using the CASE/IH thinner. When I tried using NAPHA, it didn't seem to want to mix very well. I also use a hardner.

Steve, I sell the TISCO line and they do have a good paint, however I have restored several John Deere's and the TISCO paint is a darker green than factory deere paint, but I have never sprayed any red.
