Does anyone know if the data sheets on indavidual paint produces are available on the net anywhere? I'm not sure if they are called data sheets for sure , but they are the sheets that tell you all about a certain paint or primer. They contain things like mixing instructions, what paintes on primers they are compatable with, Temprature, drying time etc. etc. Not the MSDS sheets. I would like to know mostly PPG stuff, but if someone knows of other paint co. site I would apprecit those also....thanks

Hi Mike,

Yes, the major paint suppliers to the automotive refinish trades have web sites that contain the sheets you are looking. I call them technical data sheets or product data sheets but the term P-sheets is also used. These sheets are almost mandatory if you want to properly use the products as the manufacturer recommends.

For PPG go here. The OMNI line products from PPG are also there. PPG has a site of their own but it is more difficult to get around in and actually find what you want, at least in my opinion.

For DuPont go here. Log in as "visitor" and follow this path: products > technical manuals then ChromaSystem, OEM/Fleet or Nason as appropriate.

For Martin Senour (NAPA) go here. This is a .pdf index file of the many data sheets.
