What is the proper paint to use to paint a Case 450B track loader? And where can I get it without going to a dealer? I have tried TSC but they only have the Flambo Red for case.
Is it the same as John Deere yellow?

Thanks,
David

David , Go to case for the paint, it's durable ,
quite tough, lasts well , and is under 40.00/gal.

Hi David,

I am not familiar with Case colors but the link in this previous post of mine but be of some help to you. It has several PPG codes for Case. This would be an automotive quality type of paint so would likely be more expensive than TSC or even the Case dealer. Try checking with a PPG paint supplier in your area. If you lucky to find one with some of the older color chip information, that might help confirm the color you are looking for. If you have an old color sample you could also buy a quart to check it out. It would not be returnable since it would be a custom mix but might be worth the money if it is important to have the correct shade. That's what I had to do with my AC tractor. I narrowed it down to two possible mixes, bought a quart of each, tried it out on an old part that still had the original paint and finalized it that way. I am glad I did that before buying more and finding out it was the wrong shade.
