I have a 901 Ford rowcrop that is blue and white. There is red under the blue. Should the tractor be red or blue? I looked up some other 901's on the internet and they were also blue.
Thanks,

Randy

The blue wasn't used until the 2000 series tractors. If you sanded through the blue and found red what would that tell you the color should be. Ford didn't paint it red then repaint it blue, some other moron did that. The correct colors are a orange-red (1958-1962 - Tisco SP Red) and a slight olive green gray (1948-1964 - Tisco Vintage Ford Medium Gray). The Tisco paint colors are the closes to the orginal colors as you can get.

Thanks,
I have had the tractor for about 13 years and never gave it much thought until the paint started comming off in spots. I knew most if not all the 100 series were red and cream color but some had different hood colors, etc. I would like to find a photo of an original 901 to make sure all the parts are painted correctly. Its kind of like someone painting an IH, green.
