I have obtained a 80s something Satoh Mitsubishi Beaver which i want to repaint. Have some questions:

1) I want to buy paint of higher quality than the TSC paint I used on the last project. Where should I be shopping?
2) Anyone know how I could find a near match for this orphan tractor?

Thanks!

I'm not sure of anyone who could match it by application but if you have any paint codes or possibly a paint chip, from some where that was hidden from the elements a good parts store that sells paint should be able to match it. In the past I have used PPG, Dupont, and I'm currently painting a 1937 JD AR with Martin Senour "Crossfire" paint, from NAPA. The trouble I have been running into is finding someone smart enough to mix older paint colors. PPG seems to have a lot of older paint formulas an can mix it the easiest. Maybe it's just the difference between the service of the parts stores. The best advice I can give is to check with your local parts stores and see if you can find someone willing to work with you,not someone who only knows what the computer tells them. GOOD LUCK!
