I will be buying a supplied air soon and would like some advice on it.Do you like the hood type or the face mask? can we use it in dusty grain bins as well? I was thinking maybe a hobby air. thanks

I found a used Binks supplied air respirator with compressor,hose and hood.have any of you used one or know anything good or bad about them? thanks John

I'm Using the mask works ok but, as noted the hood gives more skin protection and no problem with glasses or beard. I'm going to borrow a sand blasting soft helmit with hood and cape and see if its comfortable and enough visability for painting. If it works you could use it for both..

I prefer the hood, haven't used the full face mask, may be a problem if you wear glasses. I don't see why it wouldn't work in grain bins, but I'm not sure it is approved for that purpose. The Hobby Air is not NIOSH approved, thus the name "Hobby".
