Dupont Centari question

OK, I've just ordered the first on my paint for my Cockshutt 60.

It's gunna be Centari.

What else do I need? (Quality wise that is, I have all the safety stuff taken care of including supplied air.) Which primer should I use for the cast frame? Should I use a different primer for the tin/body parts?
Any other words of advice before I start?

Centari is a good choice. Are you aware that it can be field-mixed three different ways? With supplied air, I would recommend using the "Ultra Performance Pak" mix, using the appropriate additives. DuPont actually classifies that as an acrylic urethane even though it uses a basic Centari acrylic enamel color component. I am not sure if that is a marketing gimmick but it does spray very nicely. Difficult to run but flows well. I am sure you would be pleased with it. Recommended technique is a little different than typical - cross-coat with no flash between coats, at least for this mix version. Get the tech sheet for details. Or get all three tech sheets to review the different ways to field-mix with different additives.

I recommend a two part epoxy for a bare metal primer for both cast and sheet metal. I use a PPG epoxy but DuPont makes a similar product called a "DTM" (direct-to-metal) epoxy primer. DuPont usually pushes their etch primers instead of an epoxy - just the opposite of PPG. I much prefer the epoxy to the etch for several reasons but others will argue the opposite.
