I inherited a Craftsman air compressor without an air tank. I have tried looking around for a tank but can't find any except the small carry around tanks.

Any body know where I can get an air tank with wheels and all the tank connections? Thanks.

Hi Tom,

Grainger's has some. I recommend only a coded, ASME tank. Make sure that whatever you get is properly rated for the maximum pressure your compressor will run at. You will also need to obtain a safety valve that is set no higher than the rated pressure (MAWP or maximum allowable working pressure) of the tank. If you don't already have it, you should have a pressure switch with the unloading feature that is commonly used, together with the necessary tank check valve.

Try eBay. They seem to have tanks for sale frequently.
