I have just finished applying 5 coats of filling primer (spray cans) on the sheet metal of my Allis G tractor. I dry sanded between coats with 600 paper and did not sand after the 5th. I want to shoot PPG Omni MTK 60080A Acrylic Enamel ( Persian Orange) on the sheet metal. What is my next step at this point before applying the enamel on sheet metal? I am planning on covering the cast with epoxy primer then the enamel. But, need some advice about the sheet. Thanks, Ray A

The best choice would be a sealer over your rattle can primer. For your cast iron, remember, you have to apply your topcoat to the epoxy primer within the recoat window or it will not adhere properly.
