Clear Coat for Carburetor?

I never thought I'd do this, but I saw a picture of a tractor carburetor a guy had buffed up with a brass wire wheel, and it looked really slick. So I had to try it, and sure enough it worked very well. Is there a simple clear coat material that will preserve the shiny look, and not be affected by gas and engine heat?

Thanks

The Eastwood Company has some products just for that purpose. If your carb doesn"t clean up too well, they have some carb colored paint and a sealer in aerosol cans.

I'm not familiar with that clear coat. Do you spray it? Does it come in a spray can?

Thanks
