I just bought my second tractor, an International 340 Utility. Looking down the road to cleaning it up and repainting, does anyone know

1. what the colors are supposed to be?

2. what the respective PPG OMNI codes are?

Every picture I've seen of this tractor seems to be a little different in color combination, such as are the rims silver, or off white? Is the red OMNI MTK 71310 (used it on my Cub and loved it) like on the other Farmalls? While I'm in no way looking to do a perfect restoration, I figure if I have to paint it anyway, I might as well do the original colors.

IH 2150/PPG 71310 is the correct red -- I haven'r painted any red and white ones, so I don't remember the code for the white. Rear rims are silver, some people use aluminum, IMO that is incorrect. The rims used to be galvanized, at some point in time, they were painted. IH did not specify a paint code, just that they be rust resistant. I use PPG 8568, sort of a cross between gray and silver, actually is a GM rally wheel color, you may find it not quite as silver colored as you want. What ever you used on your Cub is ok too. The front wheels including the rims are red.

I need to learn to read a post more than once -- you said 340 Utility, which has stamped rear wheels, I can't find a picture of one, and am not sure of the rear wheel color, red or white. Ask on the Farmall board, and someone will answer, they should also know the white paint code.
