I hope someone can help me with this. I have a few questions about the quality and use of Ford New Holland Paint. DOes New Holland make a primer for use with their paints? Anyone know the part number? What type of reducer is safe to use with the New Holland paints? Do they make one? Correct me if I am wrong but I do not need to use a hardener for the New Holland paint as it is a different type of paint? What is everyone's impression of the overall quality of these paint jobs when there has been an excellent job in surface prep?

Thanks

Phil

The Case-IH (Case-IH is a division of CNH) version is a form of acrylic enamel which is a step above the paint sold by tractor stores, etc. I assmume the New Holland tractor paint is too, but I have not used either one as I prefer to use name brand paint, such as PPG or DuPont, along with the correct primers, etc that I consider to be superior to that sold by tractor manufacturers and dealers. Tractor manufacturers are not in the paint business and generally do not handle high quality paint. That is not to say that you won't be satisfied with it. CNH paint can be used with or without hardener, unless CNH has changed to urethane paint, which I doubt. Your dealer should have the correct primer and reducer should you decide to use it.
