Where can I get decals for a Farmall B, I found some on e-bay but they weren't quite the same, They didn't hav the cirlce IH in front of the Farmall on the main Decal. This was my wife's fathers tractor and I want to do it right.

Thanks

I believe this statement is correct. If your B was made before 1945, the decal will read McCormick Deering Farmall, 1945 or later, IH McCormick Deering Farmall. The "Deering" was later dropped, but it does not apply to your B. Call Maple Hunter Decals-765-932-2027-and tell them the year of your tractor, they have the correct decals. In any case, the IH does not have a circle, it is block letters.

Kraig, if you mean the IHC logo that used the C to surround the IH, That was not used on the hood of any Farmall B I've ever seen, or seen pictures of. You will find that logo on the major castings of the tractor though.

The IH block logo that is most widely recognised today, (the one on IH hats) wasn't designed until about 1945, and didn't appear on tractors until late '46 or '47, according to Guy Fay's articles I've read. It was the one used until the ag division was sold in '84.
Unless your B is a very, very late one, I think the accurate hood decal would have "FARMALL" in large letters with "McCormick-Deering" in small letters above it, but not the IH block logo.
Check Guy Fay's "Farmall Letter Series Originality guide" for vintage pictures.
