This is a painting question, but not for a tractor. I am installing 1/4 inch steel shutters on my house and need to know what would be the very toughest, durable paint that I might use. I need something that would have a satin finish, not chip easily and would last for years in the sun and rain.

Use something industrial and use an Epxoy primer. there are many companies that make good industrial paint, I work for dupont and can only comment on it because it's what I know. DuPont Industrial Corlar 2.8PR primer with Imron 3.5ST topcoat would be the toughest we have and the "ST" designation means it's a satin finish.
