Jason,

Somehow you wound up with too many>Link

Jeez, I guess my suspicion was wrong on the DuPont 655. That has too much red in it also, same as the Martin Senour. I was going to buy a bit of it sometime just to satisfy my own curiosity. Now I don't have to. Thanks :o). I think you already concluded that the DuPont 29047 also had too much red in it. I wasn't surprised at that since I had concluded the same thing some time back. Frank Stalfier was kind enough to send me some DuPont tractor color info but I am still very much confused about what is the correct early persian orange in DuPont. Guess I'll stick with the PPG that I know. BTW, here's a nice G that I saw at the show in Eliot Me. a couple of years ago:

Looks like PPG 60080 to me.

If this works here is a pic with a fender from a B that my machinist is restoring.

Jason, you must be doing something wrong. Here's the easiest way:

1. When viewing the picture in one of the galleries, right click on the picture itself. Then left click on "properties" in the menu that comes up.

2. In the "properties" dialog box there is a line item titled "URL". Right click on that item and then left click on "select all" in the new menu.

3. That URL is the address of the picture and is now highlighted. Right click on it again and select "copy" in the new menu. This copies your picture to the clipboard. You can substitute the keystroke Ctrl-C for this step if you wish.

4. Go to your post box and write your message. Just beneath the post box area you will see three separate spaces. Put your curser in the space titled "Optional Image URL". Hit the keystroke Ctrl-V to paste your picture url into this space. Leave the other two spaces blank. They are for linking to sites and images and are not for having your picture actually show up in your post like this one.

The DuPont YS074A is close isn't it. I like it. Thanks for posting the comparison. The PPG 60080 appearance seems to be quite sensitive to lighting, taking on a more yellowish cast at times. Since I like Centari I may try some of it. I don't know how much longer it is going to be around though. It may go the way that PPG Delstar did a few years back.

I have not tried to post a picture before, because I am too cheap to buy a digital camera or scanner -- rather spend it on tractor parts. But, you have to cut and paste your URL's in the Optional Link URL, and Optional Image URL, and put whatever you want in the Link Title box.
