i have the sas pro model full face mask .it looks like a gas mask .im haveing trouble with the lens fogging on the inside ,and just generally cant see good enough to paint correctly. i have painted for 20 years ,and the other day i got a run on a tractor hood that was 1 foot long with icecycles all the length .im a beliver that it makes you feel better ,but now i know why i never used it (cost 1500$) . are the hoods any better ? thought about another sandblasting helmet ,i can always see out of it ,but i would need a clean one to paint in.

Since I wear a full beard, I was kind of forced to choose a hood and I"m glad I did. The air flows in the back, over your head, and down across the lens. Zero fogging problems. It is also very light and comfortable.

I have a Hobby Air, no fogging. Check the link below and call Len Stuart (it's his business). The Hobby Air hood may adapt to your system, Len should know as he sells both of them. The hood I have is nothing more than a tyvec hood, no mask, works fine.
