My '99 Truck looks just fine, but my wife's '99 Camry has those typical halogen bulbs with the plastic lens covers. The plastic does look dull even after a healthy dose of Armor All. Now she's complaining that the lights are too dim to see at night. Anyone know of a way to restore to near new condition?? haven't priced em yet, but the last headlight assemblies I bought (and those were for the truck) were over $140 each.

I fixed the covers on my '88 minivan. I was going to buff them with the plastic buffing compound I got from Eastwood. Then it occurred to me that all it needed was some gloss, so I wet sanded them with 600 grit to thorougly clean them and shot them with some clear.

Man! They are clear and shiny!

I purchased one of these kits from eBay and it gave a 50% improvement to my sons cloudy headlight lenses on his Ford Contour. Follow the instructions and rub rub rub and it will definately brighten those lights.

Hi, For plastic I use Maguire's products. They have 2 that I use as a system. One is for course scratches and one is for fine. Look in the phone book for automobile paint supply stores. Sorry I don't recall the product numbers off hand.

You can polish by hand or with a buffer. One is much faster than the other....
