How soon after spraying 170 can I spray 181. Dry time says 30 minutes w/o acetone at 70. I'm at 65 can I prime an hour later ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Stan,

I don't think you would have a problem with that. I know the recommended time is non-linear with respect to temperature but your time seems reasonable. I usually give plenty of time between products anyway - even more than 30 min at 70. You got three days, why rush it?

Thanks Rod.
Took almost as long to clean the gun as it did to spray the cab (inside and Out).

This is my first attempt at any kind of resto work.

Thanks for the help from all.

One more question. Seemed like the paint was not attomized enough, (hope I spelled that right). Droplet size was too big. Whats the fix ?

Make sure you have the correct pressure right at the gun inlet - install a pressure gage there if you don't already have one. Check the pressure with the trigger pulled. Also make sure you are using the correct fluid tip and air cap recommended. Some guns have several different combinations of fluid tips and air caps for different materials and different fan patterns. Plus, stick by the paint manufacturer's recommend ingredients and mix ratios.
