I put on two coats of 170. (First one was a little thin in spots. I think I was in too much of a hurry to finish and clean the gun.) Looks like color could go over top.

Should I put 181 on top of this and sand or am I good with just the top caot.

This truck is going to be a 20 footer not a show vehicle. Don't read into that, that I don't care what it look's like, it just doesn't have to be perfect.

If the surface is nice and smooth with no sandscratches showing and there is no visable orange peel or other imperfections, you should not need the 181 surfacer. I assume you are using OMNI MAE for the topcoat so you should be able to apply it directly to the 170. I do it with the MTK urethane and it is permitted by the MAE tech sheet. Just do it within the three day window.
