CNKS, one time you said it was okay to paint small parts with a brush.

My question is what type of brush would I buy? I am using the PPG OMNI paint and want the bolt heads to look great after they have been tightened.

for painting some parts, and even complete yard carts and tractor parts, i use those foam brushes that have come onto the market lately! they don't leave brush marks and are easy to clean--i let the garbage man clean them! rustyj

You are more particular than I am -- I usually just buy cheap "Artist brushes", and rather than getting it absolutely clean afterward, I just toss it when it is shot. Unless you look very closely, the uneven paint on the bolt heads is not noticeable. I also use unhardened AE rather than the AU on the rest of the tractor. Perhaps I shouldn't but it seems to work.
