I was informed many years ago that IH2150 was a synthetic enamel, so I used Synthol (Napa product) as a reducer and also a NAPA hardener. Now, from looking at the can label, it appears that 2150 is some type of acrylic enamel. Was the change made when they took the lead out? Will any "brand X" acrylic enamel reducer and hardener work? How does one know what hardener is really appropriate except through trial and error?

I use painters pride acrylic enamel reducer and acrylic hardener, Works great 8-1 reducer and 4 oz per quart of hardener. You can use any brand but I use the painters pride. People ask if it has clear coat!!!

Ask on the Farmall board, as there are several there who have used hardener. That's one reason I am willing to pay twice the price (or more) for major manufacturer paint (in my case PPG). The procedures are spelled out and there is no guesswork.
