I've got a 4000 Ford sitting in my shop right now that recieved an "Aerosol Overhaul" last fall. I'm getting ready to strip it and REPAINT it. (My DEAR bro-in-law's tractor) He used a quality brand of paint. It was primed well, albiet with a spray bomb too. After a few months of "weathering", it looks like it has stripes all over the sheet metal. (Weak spots in the paint?) He spent MORE on all the cans of paint than I did buying a good grade of uerethane for a tractor I painted at the same time.

Most spray paints I've seen are medium grade enamels. No hardeners, inconsistant color from can to can, and in general, just not worth the cost.

This is just my humble opinion, and probably worth about what you paid for it.....John

Saw your other poston sandblasting. You have done the hardest part to the letter. Finish the job the same way with a real paint job. That is what I think.

Not much. A handful of people on YT claim they can do a good job, but personally I would rather have the rust -- only my opinion. I will use spray cans on parts that don't show, back side of frame rails, etc.
