Yesterday was the first decent day this spring around here and I started to blast one of the fenders for my AC-B in preparation for painting. I became disappointed with the speed on the standard suction type blaster for dealing with heavily rusted areas on large surface areas like fenders. I also have a pressure pot blaster that I use outside so I thought why not use it inside the blast cabinet? I cut a hole in the top of the cabinet door sufficient to insert the pot blaster hose through. Wow! What a difference. It's about four times faster, even with a smaller diameter nozzle. The larger, stiffer pot blaster hose is more difficult to maneuver inside the cabinet but the part can also be moved to accommodate the nozzle orientation. All in all, I think it's a big plus. For those interested, pics are here and here.
