Hi Steve I have a Farmall B and had the same issue with oils and grease, I used engine cleaner and a pressure washer, it took several applications and in hard to get areas i put mineral spirits or laquer thinner in a spay bottle and used a brush or red scotch brite, and finnally went over everything with a good wax and grease remover, I used Dupont 3900s, As for what paint to use, there are a ton of variables, the big ones are cost, life cycle, and your skill level and equipment, an epoxy primer with a urethane topcoat would be best but require all the tools and alot of practice and cost but it would be the best, I am a rep for DuPont and would be biased to have you use DuPont Imron or some fleet finish, I will say there are other companies like PPG, that make fine products as well, Rod could give you the PPG info. In either case you will need specialized stuff like a good compressor, spray equipment, and saftey equipment, or you could always do the prep and farm out the paint to a local shop
