i am going to be starting to work on my frame , nothing fancy , all by handsanders/ ovencleaner ect. ? what is the best thing to put on the parts as i go . it may, no will be a while before i can get it painted . got to hand sand rear rims front spokes,frame top to bottom i have heard of picklex 20, rust no more, zero rust, must for rust , ect . it may be fall when i am done sanding. just need to keep it from rerusting , or do i just need to use primer. this is being done in the backyard open air, but under cover.

Picklex 20, etc, has to be kept dry to prevent rust. Although you are under cover, outdoors there will still be moisture. Your best bet is to use epoxy primer. Then when you have all the parts done, you will need to scuff and reapply.
