I sandblasted the hood on my B and it flattened out apparently from the heat generated by blasting,is there any way to get it back in shape?

BLT, what do you mean by "flattened out"? If the shape has just changed from changing the radius of the bends in the corners you can try using the blaster on the other side (probably the inside)& keep working it back to the original shape. If you have actually deformed the metal on the flats you have a problem & will need to use heat & damp cloth to shrink the metal back to it's original form, then a body hammer to re-form the high areas & probably some type of filler for the low spots.

Thanks. I blasted it from the inside and am going to replace the gas tank hangers. It is the outside bends that have spread out. I have not done anything to the outside yet. I can pull it back into shape but it won't hold. Would heat from a torch be too much?

A little heat, applied in the proper place will shrink the metal.
I learned this trick from a body guy, and also got told to always play with scrap metal first.
Remember, you can always make the problem worse, so practice on junk or cheap stuff.
