Well, I checked with the jobber on Concept 71310 tonight and can get it for $66/qt. They told me that IH red is the most expensive Concept paint due to the cost of the red pigments used. They told me that Concept is very popular with tractor restorers. I was also told the kind of lighting makes a huge difference with the appearance. The jobber told me he went to a paint seminar where they demonstrated the effects using six different light sources and he was amazed at the difference. Don't worry about how the paint looks except in the sun light.Lance

I don't think I would worry about the color of Concept. PPG has more quality control for their expensive paints, that's one of the reasons they are expensive. Just be sure you have an "active" jobber and that he keeps the toners mixed. By the way, if you do buy a quart, before or after you use it, consider pulling the label off, sometimes they put the toner colors and the amount used on the back of the label -- or perhaps the guy will print it out for you. I would be interested in knowing what they are. I'm probably going to ask my dealer next time I go there, if I don't hear from you first.
